She was head of wardrobe for Plastico, an upcoming Venezuelan feature film. and associate producing the upcoming CNN documentary-series Jerusalem. She earned her BA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Hello friends- I'm Maya! I'm a first generation Palestinian-American actor and producer based in California.
In my work, I pull from my Palestinian heritage, American upbringing, and global experiences to find threads of unapologetic wisdom, independence, tradition, and identity in the souls of Americans who are in between cultures.
To act was my first and greatest creative outlet. I've always been drawn to emotion. I like to hear people laugh, watch them crack, feel their souls flourish with feelings that can’t help but make their way into physical expression.
My producer credits span features, shorts, television, and political campaigns. Credits include producing Climate Change Couch Potato, a political puppet troupe campaign series, and associate producing the newly released CNN documentary-series, Jerusalem.
I trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and received my BA in Theatre at San Francisco State University. Credits include performing in Marin Theater Company's production of NOURA and the VICE ARABIA selected short, ASYA.
My other works include styling, writing, and painting.
